Valentine’s Cake

2 Valentines Cake

It’s 10.15 pm here and I’m really tired. We were celebrating carnival all afternoon (as a clown family this year). Maybe I’ll share a few photos later this week.

We got lots of snow again this morning. …as the weather forecast predicted.

And… Valentine’s Day is in less than two days. We don’t make a big thing out of it, we don’t even give each other gifts every year, because we think a kiss and a small ‘I love you’ is enough. But, we love cakes and my husband, especially, has a sweet tooth. This is a cake I made yesterday evening – for the Valentine’s Day already.

I made this cake here, but I used strawberry yogurt instead of vanilla yogurt and I added canned strawberries to the whipped cream for the frosting. It took me almost an hour and a half to make it and I think it’s not going to last until Valentine’s Day. But hey, we should celebrate love every day, not just on Valentine’s day, right?! ;)
