It happens to me sometimes that I read two books at a time. I’ve just finished two.
This past weekend:
I had two dinners and a lunch out with friends,
I finished reading two books,
I made some beeswax candles again (first time here),
I ate lots of popcorn,
I drank liters of tea …
This past weekend was a lovely one.
The previous week I ran out of my own beeswax candles. I had to make them again. Love them.
A friend brought me this so-called salt flower. I wrote once about the delicious chocolate with salt flower. I’ve known the salt flower is some kind of salt, but I haven’t known what kind of salt this is. Now I know: salt flower is supposed to be the best that the sun and the sea have to offer – those wonderful crystals in a thin layer on the surface of the saltpans, produced in a traditional way at the Secovlje Salina Nature Park. And do you know what salt is supposed to be? They say it’s the sea that could not return to the sky. Beautiful.
Have a wonderful week!!

You said the magic word – popcorn. We eat a ton of it here, I just love it. I have an air popper but it’s really old and needs to be replaced. Must get around to doing that.
I’ve never made candles before, so your beeswax candles look fabulous! I loved reading about the salt flower. It’s given me a wonderful start to the day! Thank you.

Sounds like a good weekend. Interesting about the salt flower.
I’m gonna make the beeswax candles soon. Sounds like a lovely weekend, I drank litres of tea too :)
I can’t manage two books at once unless they are completely different. Otherwise I forget too much and get them mixed up!
Mmmmm… popcorn. That stuff is addicting. I’ve also wanted to try making my own candles. Thanks for the tutorial!! :)
